Prayer: Death swallowed up in your perfect Faithfulness

Isaiah 25:1 Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

🙏Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name,

for in perfect faithfulness you have done and are doing wonderful things,

things planned long ago.

Lighten my life and soften my heart oh God

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

I will weep no more.

How gracious my God is when I cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer me.

Although the Lord gives me the bread of adversity and the water of affliction,

My teachers are hidden no more; with my own eyes I will see them.

Whether I turn to the right or to the left, my ears will hear a voice behind me, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

I hope in the Lord

My eyes cannot see the unseen, but my heart trusts and sees what is waiting for me in eternity

I see victory, For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be my shepherd;

The water of affliction dissipates and he will lead me to springs of living water.

The bread of adversity is no more in Jesus’ name

Because the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines.

On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth

Gods’ promise is this He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

I praise you God There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.

He is making everything new!

Thank you God your words are trustworthy and true.

He says to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.

Jesus I praise you that you help my light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

I praise you that when I suffer as a Christian, your word says not to be ashamed, but to praise God that you bear that name.

I am of great value to God

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

I praise you that I heard the truth

I was included in Christ when I heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation.

When I believed, I was marked in you God with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit and who is my deposit guaranteeing my inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory

scripture used:

Isaiah 25:1

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

Perfect faithfulness: Numbers 23:19

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Planned: Ephesians 1:11-14

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

abundance of your house=Feast

Isaiah 25:4

You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall

Isaiah 25:6-8

On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.

Wine:

Psalms 36:8-9

They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.

Feast:

Isaiah 55:1-3

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

Joel 3:18

“In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of the Lord’s house and will water the valley of acacias.

Shroud:

2 Corinthians 3:15-18

Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:18-19

They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

Hos 13:14 I will deliver this people from the power of the grave;

I will redeem them from death.

1 Corinthians 15:54-58

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Wipe away tears: Isaiah 30:19-21

People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
