I enter your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise
You are good all the time
I declare your word
‘Believing-prayer will heal me,’
And I know your word never returns void
Father, you say
‘A word out of your mouth may seem of no account,
but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it!
Help me speak words of blessing, not destruction
You gave me the keys of the kingdom of heaven;
And whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Please help me to think of words as precious life breathing utterances
Not as powerless
“By my tongue I will prevail;
My own lips will defend me
I love life and see good days
I declare I must keep my tongue from evil
and my lips from deceitful speech.
I praise you my Sovereign Lord
That you have given me a well-instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary
Thank you for sustaining me today in my weariness
I praise you that when
I am living righteous my mouth is a fountain of life,
Jesus fill my heart with you
More of you.
Less of me
I am full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and
Self control
I declare my mouth speaks what my heart is full of.
I declare I fear you
You deliver me
I Taste and see that you Lord are good;
I am blessed because I take refuge in you.
When I fear you Abba,
I lack nothing.
I seek you Lord, and lack no good thing.
I love life with you
and desires to see many good days,
I praise you that you keep my tongue from evil
and my lips from telling lies.
I turn from evil and do good;
I seek peace and pursue it.
Your eyes are on the righteous,
and your ears are attentive to my cry;
I believe and therefore speak:
‘Dry bones of _________,
hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to my bones of _______:
Jesus you make breath enter this area,
and it will come to life.
I declare Jesus you will attach life where there is none
You will put breath in my body, and I will come to life.
I praise you for doing this
And know that You are my Lord.’”
I prophesied as I am commanded.
I hear a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones are coming together, bone to bone.
I look and I see restoration
‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain areas of my life,
that they may live.’”
As I prophesy as you command me,
I breath and I see life more abundant
All the dead areas, illness, sin infected areas of my life are gone
And the once dead areas of my body have come to life
I am now stronger than a vast army.
Where hope was gone
It is now restored
I praise you
You put your Spirit in me
I LIVE
YOU HAVE SPOKEN
I KNOW YOU HAVE DONE IT
I PRAISE YOU AND GIVE YOU ALL THE GLORY
I will remain confident in this
I will see the goodness of you, Lord
I see your faithfulness

A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it! It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell. This is scary: You can tame a tiger, but you can’t tame a tongue—it’s never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer
James 3:1-6
Taming the Tongue
Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
I am and have been an unbridled horse many times in my life. Too often have a spewed out words in anger, sadness, idleness, gossip, and so much more. Out of the intentions of your heart so the mouth speaks – rings in my ears. Scripture says:
Luke 6:45
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
How many times have I thought my heart was right with God and then one of my children or my husband says something and it unleashes something lurking in the shadows of my heart. I say something and I am like where did did that come from? I question and say Lord, forgive me, is that what my heart is full of? I repent, and realize my life is an ongoing work in process. So more of you Jesus, less of me. It breaks down the any pile of deeds I have built an alter to… I have built of good works based alters around me, but realize there is nothing good about me in my humanness. Even my good deeds are filthy rags. So Lord, let my words be a fountain of life. Let me be slow to speak, intentional about what I say, slow to anger, quick to love and speak blessing. I want to speak blessing, life, and to love above all else. I want everything that comes out of my mouth to breath life into those I love. I want to be a fountain of life to those around me as Proverbs says:
Proverbs 10:11
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
What are the intentions of my heart? I would love to say they are all of God, and that my mouth is always a fountain of life. When I really look at my life, my track record, my words have decreed many things I repent of and pray that in the name of Jesus he breaks the curse I spoke out loud knowingly or unknowingly. Not only am I guilty of talking about others, but have been anything but slow to speak. I have spoken lies, things I can not take back, I have had a mouth of idle words….all that changes with the power of the gospel, the Holy Spirit will help me and guide me forward. I believe therefore I speak, He has been with me every step of the way, restoring my path. Whether I turn to the right or the left I hear the voice of the good shepherd. I say this now often out loud, I declare his promises out loud, I pray out loud – because there is power in words spoken. He brought the earth into being by speaking it into existence.
In Ezekiel God commands him to prophesy out loud to this dry bones, so to ‘speak to them’, and what happens they come to life. Here you see in the text:
Ezekiel 37:4-5
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
Ezekiel 37:9-10
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
In both instances God commands him to ‘say it’ and ‘hear the word of the Lord’…so today I encourage you to speak to your situation: disparity, sadness, rejection, illness, hurting marriage, child acting out, sinful past, whatever it may be, and pray out loud with the authority you have been given. Declare his word over your situation, he promises his word will never return void. You will give life to your situation where there is none. When we pray we are brought before His throne, and we have been given incomparably more power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead as Ephesians says:
Ephesians 1:17-23
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
This is your inheritance, take hold of it and fight for what is yours in Jesus’ Name.
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

I AM AWARE THAT MY TONGUE CHARTS MY COURSE, ONLY YOU JESUS ARE PERFECT AND CAN HELP ME THROUGH YOUR POWER TO TAME MY TONGUE
WORDS HAVE THE POWER OF LIFE AND DEATH
I PRAISE YOU THAT OUT OF MY MOUTH FLOW RIVERS OF LIFE THROUGH THE POWER OF YOUR HOLY SPIRIT JESUS, MY ABBA.
AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IN MY HUMANNESS I CONFESS MY TONGUE IS EVIL AND I AM WEAK, BUT I PRAISE YOU THAT YOU TAKE MY WEAKNESS AND THROUGH YOUR POWER, JESUS GIVE ME STRENGTH, I PRAISE YOU MY TONGUE IS LIKE A STRONG BIT AND A RUTTER THAT SETS THE COURSE OF MY LIFE ON BLESSING
FORGIVE ME FOR THE CURSES MY TONGUE HAS SPOKEN
I REBUKE IN JESUS NAME THE WORD CURSES I HAVE SPOKEN KNOWINGLY OR UNKNOWINGLY AND BREAK THE PATTERN OF SIN IN MY LIFE IN JESUS” POWERFUL NAME – AMEN
