Prayer for Peace

ANCIENT OF DAYS, JESUS,
I praise you and thank you that you are my Peace and Hope.
(Colossians 3:15)
Today let the peace of Christ rule in my heart, since as members of one body I am called to peace.   Help me to be thankful. I praise you I have been justified through faith, and I have peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ. I confess even my good deeds are filthy rags before you, and that only through your son JESUS, I am righteous by his blood shed on the cross. I praise you that I was able to access by faith into this grace in which I stand. And I boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but I also glory in my sufferings, because I know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into my heart through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to me. I confess that my lack of peace is letting the enemy gain ground, and ask for your forgiveness. In times where chaos swirls around me, I remind myself of your word (Isaiah 54:10), that though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, your unfailing love for me will not be shaken, nor your covenant of peace be removed from me.” I thank you for the compassion you have on me.
And I praise you (Luke 1:78-80)
because of YOUR tender mercy,
by which the rising sun will come to ME from heaven
to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide my feet into the path of peace.”
I praise you that the outflow of peace in my life
(Ephesians 4:2-3) is being completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Help me to be these things Jesus, help me to make every effort with my husband, my children, family, and everyone I meet to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
(Colossians 3:12-15)
Every day Lord as your chosen child, holy and dearly loved, help me to clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Help me to bear with each other and forgive one another if I have a grievance against someone. Help me to Forgive as Lord you forgave me.  Help me to put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in my heart, since as members of one body I am called to peace. And be thankful. Forgive me when I live a life without peace, for I am living by the flesh, I repent and ask that you help me live a Spirit led life with the outflow being peace.
Remind me when I become anxious to make peace my guide, which is you Jesus, perfect peace, (Philippians 4:6-7) Help me to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And through this the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.

Peace Scripture:

Romans 8:6
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Galatians 6:8-9
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Psalms 119:165
Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble.

PRINCE OF PEACE:
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Ephesians 2:14-18
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

PEACE IN HEALING:
Isaiah 57:18-19
I have seen their ways, but I will heal them;
I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners,
creating praise on their lips.
Peace, peace, to those far and near,”
says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”

FEET THAT PROCLAIM PEACE:
Isaiah 52:7
How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”

THE EFFECTS OF A PERSON LIVING WITH PEACE:
Isaiah 32:17
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace;
its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.

Isaiah 26:3-4
You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.
Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

Note the progression: Trust leads to thankfulness and gratitude activates peace.

Romans 8:6
The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.

Psalm 91:1
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

James 1:2, 4:7

2 Thessalonians 3:16
May the Master of Peace himself give you the gift of getting along with each other at all times, in all ways. May the Master be truly among you!

Isaiah 54:10
For even if the mountains walk away
and the hills fall to pieces,
My love won’t walk away from you,
my covenant commitment of peace won’t fall apart.”
The God who has compassion on you says so.

PEACE FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT:
John 14:26-27
26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Galatians 4:6-7
Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

Galatians 3:26-29
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

WHAT DEFINES PEACE?
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Jeremiah 33:6 ““‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security”

Lev 26:6 ““‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid”

Psalm 37:11 “But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.”

2 Thessalonians 3:16

I praise you for your faithfulness Father
When I believe you are who you say your are
I AM AT PEACE
When you placed your call on my life

That you give me strength
I am blameless through your sons blood shed on the cross
Your power works through me
To put your glory on display
May my life be for your glory

Hebrews 13:20-21 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

ETERNAL COVENANT OF PEACE:

Therefore tell him I am making my covenant of peace with him.

Ezekiel 37:26-28
I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.’”

Malachi 2:4-6
And you will know that I have sent you this warning so that my covenant with Levi may continue,” says the Lord Almighty. “My covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name. True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.
