❤️2 Timothy 2:13❤️
if we are faithless,
he remains faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
Hebrews 11:24-26
By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.
Hebrews 11:27
By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.
Hebrews 11:30-31
By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.
By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.
By faith…as Hebrews 11 says…what is your list of by faith? As I read today through this chapter I challenge myself to write down faith markers in my life. When did I have to move forward last, by faith, without knowing what would lie ahead? What was my last wall that needed marching around?, when was the last time I chose to not fight with human ways?, but with prayer. When last did I act like Rehab?, and even though I would face death, I listened to God anyways. On the first, there have been times when I have let go and let God. He says to me as he says in Exodus 14:14:
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
I need to only to be still, and He will fight for me…but Rehab, never have I faced what she faced.
So making a list, reminds me of HIS faithfulness, and postures my heart and mind towards praise. It also strengthens my faith, and propels me to not baby step, but jump when God calls. I hope these prayers and verses propel you forward today
Hebrews 11:32-40
And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated—
the world was not worthy of them.
They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
James 2:18-24
But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that —and shudder.
You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
Galatians 3:22
But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
Galatians 3:25-29
Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise
🙏 Jesus help me to store up for myself treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Help me to remember if God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he will more than clothe me and lavish me with love. Help me to be a woman of great faith, that when tossed by the waves and storms of life, I believe that my God, will calm my storms in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 2:4-6
and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Luke 12:34
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:28-31
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
Matthew 8:24-26
Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
Isaiah 40:6-8
A voice says, “Cry out.”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
“All people are like grass,
and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.
The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the Lord blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.
The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever. ”
🙏Father, help me to be like Abraham, when you call me, help me go, and know that I may never receive my inheritance on earth, but help me to press on, knowing that my reward is not on earth, because I do not belong here but in heaven with you. Lord Jesus, help me to go when you call me by faith, even when I do not know where I am going. I praise you I will go in faith.
Hebrews 11:8-10
By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.
James 2:22-24
You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
🙏 Jesus help me to be like Jacob who when he was old and dying he blessed and worshipped standing up by leaning on his staff, so old and feeble, yet remained standing to worship. May I always remain standing to worship you.
Hebrews 11:21
By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
🙏Father, help me to fix my eyes on what is unseen and eternal. Help me to be a woman of faith Jesus, to walk forward and live out your commands. Jesus help me to be obedient. I thank you that I am secure in my identity in you Jesus. I praise you that you are 100% faithful all the time. I praise you that I may not see your promises fulfilled on earth, but I know that you will fulfill them in heaven. I praise you Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
1 Peter 1:7-8
These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire —may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,
Hebrews 11:13-16
All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
🙏 Help me be a woman of faith who moves forward when you call me. I am not ensnared by fear or distracting circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Help me to stand and move forward when you call me. I am strong and courageous in the Lord, because he will not leave me or forsake me. I will not fear for you are my God, and you are with me. I praise you that you strengthen me. You are my shield and my great reward. Forgive me for faithless behavior and disobedience. Forgive me for all the times I let distraction get in the way. I praise you that even when I am faithless, you are still faithful.
Deuteronomy 31:5-6
The Lord will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Isaiah 41:10-13
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
“All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all.
For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.
Genesis 15:1
The Lord’s Covenant With Abram
After this, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:
“Do not be afraid, Abram.
I am your shield,
your very great reward. ”
🙏Help me to follow you Jesus. I repent of my old life, and leave it behind, I step forward by faith and follow you
Ephesians 4:22-24
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
🙏I praise you for your faithfulness my God. Jesus you are the same yesterday and today – you reign forever. You cover me with your feathers, you shield me, and you are my REFUGE. I praise you that you are always faithful, and all your promises my God were made YES in JESUS CHRIST. I praise you, that You are the God who brings life where there is none. I stand Firm, you are with me, and will fight this battle for me FAITHFUL ONE.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Psalms 91:4
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
2 Corinthians 1:18-22
But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas and Timothy —was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Romans 4:17
As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
2 Chronicles 20:17
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”
🙏Help me be a woman who lives life under your authority Jesus. I believe you say the word, and it is done. By faith I am made strong and completed healed body, mind, soul, and spirit. I praise you for trials, you are building in me perseverance, to mature me and complete me, so all I do may bring you glory. I have overcome ___________ (fear, illness, anxiety, or whatever your struggle) because HE who is in me is GREATER THAN THE WORLD. You formed the world by your command, you spoke creation into existence. I have faith that when I speak your name and claim the blood of Jesus over my situation, I see you completely restore this brokenness in my life and claim your victory over _______ in my life.
Matthew 8:8-10
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
Acts 3:16
By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
James 1:2-4
Trials and Temptations
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Hebrews 11:3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
🙏Help me to earnestly seek you. I believe in what I can not see. Help me to have the faith of Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Rehab, and march around my own Jericho letting you fight my battles. I will trust in you at all times. I see the chaos in my life collapse, just like the walls of Jericho, in Jesus’ Name. Help me, regardless of what I go through to remain strong in my faith, be close to me God. I am encouraged that you will never leave me no matter what I face. I praise you that you have prepared great things for me in your eternal unseen kingdom. Help me to always remember when I am discouraged, defeated, dismayed, and lacking hope that all that I face in this earth is temporary. I know this earth is not my true home, and persevere for the sake of the one who has called me.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:7-10
By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
Hebrews 11:11
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
Hebrews 11:17-19
By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.
