Prayer on Standing Firm

2 Chronicles 20:17
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”

💗So often we fight our own battles forgetting the promises of God. He promises many times that ‘He will fight for us, we need only be still.’ If we take up our position, stand firm, he promises we will see the deliverance he will give us. So do not be afraid or discouraged, take up your position which is recognizing your inheritance in Christ, putting on your armor, and then allowing Him to guide you and fight for you.

Stand firm in your faith
Or you will not stand at all
Keep calm and do not be afraid
I go where you send me
I say anything my Jesus at your command
I am not afraid
You are with me
You are my rescue
You are my shield and great reward
I am righteous through Jesus’ blood
You promise when I believe the Lord and am credited faithful
I BELIEVE
You go with me where ever I go
No one will be able to stand against me all the days of your life.
You say to me as I was with Moses, so I will be with you;
You will never leave me nor forsake me.
I am strong and courageous, because you will lead me
You Jesus reach out your hand and touch my mouth and say to me,
I have put my words in your mouth.
See, today I appoint you to build and to plant.
Your eyes oh God, will watch over me for good,
You will build me up and not tear me down;
You will plant me and not uproot me.
You give me a heart to know you.
I am your child.
You are my God
I repent and return to you with all my heart.
